Listening to a Stranger Story

I decided to transit in Singapore for half a day before flying to Japan. I was just missing Singapore and wanted to feel the Singapore vibes for a little bit.

My flight was schedule to arrive Singapore at 6.15 pm. I expected I can leave the airport around 7 pm and spend the night wandering around Orchard or Sentosa.

But my flight departure was delayed almost one hour due to engineering issue and surprisingly I had to wait 55 minutes to get out from Singapore immigration. There were so many people that night and the queue was not moving at all.

Were that night so many suspicious people arriving Singapore? Why did the immigration officers take so long time to process the people to come Singapore?

Finally, I could left around 8.15 pm and straight walked to the baggage storage.

I took train and went to Orchard, walked to Somerset, and spent some hours in Mustafa. I went back to the airport around 1 am because I was too sleepy.

But before looking for a place to sleep, I wanted to eat McDonald's. Not because I was craving for McDonald's, but I wanted to see whether there is Singapore special menu.

I was waiting Skytrain in Terminal 1 to go to Terminal 3. There, there was a black man pushing a trolley asked me about how to go to other terminals. I learned that he would go to Indonesia to join a golf competition.

"I want to go to McDonald's in Terminal 3."

"Let me hangout with you!"

NOOOOOO.
I am totally fine spending time with a stranger only that time I was so sleepy. I was just planning to go McDonald's and spend 15 minutes and then go to sleep.

McDonald's was closed that time and I didn't want to go to Burger King. I saw Heavenly Wang in Terminal 1 so I said I wanted to eat there. So we came back to Terminal 1.

I ordered Nasi Lemak with Chicken Rendang and he ordered Nasi Lemak with Curry Chicken. For drinks, we chose Milo Ais. He paid my food ๐Ÿ˜„.

After that... I spend my three and half hours to listen to his story...
