Spanish lesson restart!

 

I started my Spanish lesson again after two months hiatus.

My first class after so long time was today morning. I think it's good to take lessons on weekend morning so it will force me to wake up early.

My teacher is a lady from Venezuela. She is very cheerful and friendly. She speaks to me 100% in Spanish but she slows down a little bit since I may not understand.

Surprisingly today lesson was super fine. I could understand her more than 80%. I didn't understand much when I took her lessons two months ago. Hiatus makes you smarter or what? I even didn't practice any of my Spanish. Well, I did some quizzes on Duolingo but I did much more Russian than Spanish. 

When my teacher said to me something and I wanted to say yes. Instead of sí, I said, "да, да."

Это не русский, это испанский урок!

This is not Russian, this is Spanish lesson! Oh my God.

Once I wanted to ask a question with 'why' and inside my head I was thinking, "What is почему in Spanish?"

Por qué! Por qué!

I enjoy this language confusion.

I myself speak four languages: two native languages, English, and Japanese. So, Spanish and Russian are my I dunno... sixth and seventh languages? I am even still not good at them. Having language confusion is such a normal and I choose to enjoy it. 😄

I am waiting the time I have dreams in those languages.

I will restart my Chinese lesson next Wednesday... let me see what fun will happen!
