Try something new

 

Recently, I wanted to try something new. Like anything.

I was taking six language lessons until three weeks ago. But my computer was broken and I decided to stop five of my lessons until I get a new computer.

So, I feel so hima~ since before I even could take three language classes a day. Then, I asked my family and friends what new things should I do.

Here the recommendation lists:

🧋 attending religious sermon/activities (my friend knows I never interested of this) 

🧋yoga 

🧋tai-chi 

🧋running 

🧋aikido

 if it’s a sport… I will leave the chat… 

🧋making music 

🧋sewing

🧋salsa

🧋marrying someone (with who?)

🧋being pregnant (whose baby?

 …and many more.

I ended up didn’t try all of them. But I’m thinking of taking flamenco lesson. I also want to take koto lesson but haven’t got any information whether there is a class near my house. 

Well, but today, I tried something new. I went to uranaishi and had a palm reading. This is my first time to have this in Japan. Five to 10 minutes for 1000 yen.

I don’t believe in fortune telling or zodiac, I just see them as an entertainment. Well, if it’s good I believe though 🤪

The fortune teller is an old man, I guess around 70 year-old.

He asked me to show my palms, both of my hand, and what I wanted to know. I said, well, maybe about work, romance, and money.

“Personality hmmm… Anata gankou desu ne. You don’t want to lose,” he said while touching a line on my palm.

That’s right!

Here is the summary what the uranaishi said to me: 

✨ the best time to marry is when I am 34-35 year old 

✨ it is recommended to have three kids (why so many?) 

✨ I will work until 70 year-old (my dream is to stop working at 3 years from now)

✨ I will live long, until 90 year old

✨ a creative person, not too good at sales, but dekinai koto wa nai.

✨ smart person (are you sure?)

✨ money is not a problem

✨ the person I like now is a good person (which one?)

I said to him, I don’t want to have kids.

“Demo ne… I think you better have.”

Let’s see.

While I don’t believe that I will live until 90s or better for me to have three kids, a visit to uranaishi is a fun activity. The uranaishi has a very good communication skill and very fun to talk to.

Note:

hima (暇) = idle

uranaishi (占い師) = fortune teller

anata gankou desu ne (あなた頑固ですね) = you are stubborn, right…

dekinai koto wa nai (できないことはない) = not something impossible to do

demo ne (でもね) = but…
